Have you ever seen Sara Gilbert's kids? The 'Roseanne' star is a loving mom

The famous sit-com star is an expert in juggling multiple roles - especially, the role of a loving mother to her young children.

Sara Gilbert is famous for being a successful star on the hit show Roseanne, but very few know that the 43-year-old actress is also a doting mother of three children, a report from Closer Weekly suggested.

Gilbert has three lovable children. Her eldest son is Levi Hank Gilbert-Adler, who is 10 years of age. Then she has a 10-year-old daughter, Sawyer Jane Gilbert-Adler. And, finally, her youngest son, Rhodes Emilio Gilbert-Perry is just three years old.

She shares Levi and Sawyer with her former husband, Allison Adler, while Rhodes is her youngest son with famous songwriter Linda Perry, with whom she has been in a relationship for four years.

Besides playing the role of a dedicated mother, and the star of Roseanne, Gilbert is also a huge part of The Talk. In an interview with St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Gilbert revealed how her motherhood had played an indirect role in helping her come up with the idea for the talk show.

She explained that she had once joined a mothers group after one time feeling overwhelmed by parenthood. There the idea came to her like "a light bulb," she told the source.

"I thought, 'What if there were a show where a bunch of women sat together and talked about the world through that perspective?'" she told St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

At the same time, Gilbert is busy with the new, reboot episodes of Roseanne, a show in which she debuted at the age of 13 in the role of Darlene Conner.

Gilbert explained to Variety how she played an influential role in deciding that the Conners should still be portrayed as a working-class family with their own struggles.

She further stressed that achieving the same authenticity about being the story of a blue-collar family was important because research found that "people who were in their income bracket then were actually often making less now,” she told Variety.
