David Bowie’s widow Iman still keeps husband's memory alive 3 years after his death

Legendary musician David Bowie died three years ago. At the time of his death, he was 69, one year shy of reaching the 70-years milestone.

He was survived by his widow, Iman Bowie, their daughter, and his son. Even though he’s been gone for so many years, the model still keeps his memory alive

Despite the years going by since David Bowie’s death, his wife Iman Bowie still wears a gold chain with his name on it. That is how she keeps his memory alive.

She has also vowed, “I will never remarry.” That means, her late husband would also be her last one until she dies.

Although his fans miss him, no one could miss the star as much as Iman. April 24 would have been the couple’s 26th wedding anniversary.

To celebrate the day, Iman shared a touching tribute. She uploaded pictures of herself with David on their wedding day.

Their wedding ceremony was kept under the radar, so there weren't many public photos from the day until then. The images showed the pair wearing black and white suits respectively.

The couple married in Lausanne, Switzerland, on April 24, 1992. They started dating in 1990 when a hairdresser introduced them.

On their first date, David asked Iman out for tea and the rest is history. A few months after their private wedding, they held a bigger, public event in Florence, Italy, to celebrate their union.

A few years later, the celebrity couple welcomed a daughter. Alexandria Zahra Jones was born in the year 2000 before losing her father 16 years later.

Iman is also a stepmother to David's son from a previous marriage, Duncan Jones.
